The basic material of the lamp glass technique – a glass rod – is grasped as a line, formed into a spatial structure (materialized drawing). The properties of the material and the technology become both a limitation and the subject of an experiment that explores and is exploring the possibilities of lampwork glass. The work raises questions about space, matter, but also about technology itself and autonomy of lamp glass in new contexts.
